What does the year 2025 mean to you? As for me, it is a time to give God, our creator, praise and honor. It is He that holds my breath in His hands and no one else.
As I reflect on some of the deplorable conditions people live in, far and near, I have to give God some praise. When I can put one foot in front of the other and walk, I can think and make decisions from day to day; I have to give God some praise. Many days I could not do those things most folks take for granted.
Having a roof over my head, clean water to drink, clothes on my back, food in the refrigerator, a car to drive, though it isn't new, His mercy, protection, the ability to see the doctor with insurance, and so much more, I have to give God some praise.
My heart yearns to go into His sanctuary to hear the Word, sing, and worship with my fellow brothers and sisters in Christ. I can't hold it. Thank you for saving this dirt. That's all I am. I've got to give God some praise.
Thank you, Heavenly Father. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Holy Spirit. Every day thanksgiving will be on my lips to you all.
