What does the year 2023 mean to you? As for me, it is a time to give God, our creator praise and honor. It is Him that holds my breath in His hands and one else.
Reflecting on some of the deplorable conditions people live in, far and near, I have to give God some praise. When I put one foot in front of the other and walk, can think, make decisions from day to day, I have to give God some praise. Many times I couldn't do those things most folks take for granted.
Having a roof over my head, clean water to drink, clothes on my back, food in the refrigerator, a car to drive, though it isn't new, His mercy, protection, can go to the doctor with insurance and so much more, I have to give God some praise.
My heart yearns to go into His sanctuary to hear the Word, sing, worship with my fellow brothers and sisters in Christ. I can't hold it. Thank you for saving this dirt. That's all I am. I've got to give God some praise.
Thank you Heavenly Father. Thank you Jesus. Thank you Holy Spirit. Everyday thanksgiving will be on my lips to you all.
