Urban Sparrow is the heart-wrenching story of an inner city girl named Corinthians Ann Davenport. She lived in practically every district in Newark, New Jersey. Corinthians never felt good enough for her mother who was an overworked married, yet single mother that specialized in mental abuse as a means of punishment. Abandoned by her care-free father, there was no guidance how to maneuver in this chaotic world.
Moving from Montclair, New Jersey, back to Newark, isolation was no longer a problem. Her new associates taught her a few new tricks. They hung out after hours, used drugs, and participated in premarital sex as if it were legal. It didn't take long for Allen Richardson to fix his lustful eyes on her. All it took was one long, hard, real kiss to entangle her in a web of deceit.
Totally ignorant of the warning signs this wicked world can hurl at you, Corinthians became a teenage mother and a high school dropout at age fifteen. Several years later, still blind as a bat, she crossed the sacred matrimonial threshold, thinking it would make her feel complete. However, sheer evil was waiting on the other side. Travel with this Christian woman on her treacherous Jericho road.
